- Youngest in history to Chart - May 22, 2000*
- Billy becomes the youngest soloist in history to appear on Billboard's Country
charts, breaking Brenda Lee's record (1957), with his debut single "One Voice"

- First Fan Fair - June 12, 2000
- Billy makes his Fan Fair debut and received a standing ovation for his performance
of "One Voice" during the Sony Show.

- In the same week Billy's debut album is released his first single soars to #1 on
the Billboard Country Singles Sales Chart and stays there for 5 weeks.

- Grand Ole Opry - June 24, 2000
- Billy's stunning debut performance at the historic Grand Ole Opry.

- Making more Chart history - June 28, 2000
- Released on June 20th, Billy's first album takes a giant leap onto the Billboard
Country Album Chart at #4, making Billy the youngest ever country soloist to
break the top 5, and only the third artist in history to have their first
album debut that high on the charts.

- TNN's "Class Of 2000" names Billy "NBT" or "Next Big Thing".

- "One Voice" goes GOLD - July 19, 2000
- In just 4 weeks "One Voice" is certified Gold, and Billy becomes the
youngest country artist ever to have a gold album.

- "One Voice" The Most Requested - September 3, 2000
- Billy's "One Voice" video was #1 on the CMT's Top 100 Requests, which features
viewers 100 favorite videos of all time.

- Billy is nominated "The Hollywood Reporter's Fifth Annual YoungStar Awards" for
"Best Young Recording Artist or Musical Group".
Billy's duet partner Charlotte Church won.

- Twelve weeks to the day of it's release, Billy's "One Voice" album received
Platinum certification from the RIAA, signifying One Million albums shipped.
Billy is the youngest solo artist EVER, in any type
of music, to be certified Platinum.

- Billy's "One Voice" video earned him Best New Artist nominations in the Country,
Jazz/Adult Contemporary, and Contemporary Christian categories and Best Video
in the Contemporary Christian category.

- Another Standing Ovation - October 4, 2000
- Even with a drastically shortened version of "One Voice" Billy did it again!
He barely got finished before they were on their feet.

- Billy wins all four of the Billboard Music Video Awards he was nominated for.

- The American Music Awards nominates Billy for "Favorite New Artist - Country Music".

- Billy is the Biggest Selling - November 13, 2000
- With both Billy's "One Voice" and "Classic Christmas" albums in Billboard's Top
10, and a combined sales of about 65,000 per week, Billy is the biggest selling
artist in Country music at the end of November and beginning of December.

- Billy is the Best Selling Debut artist of the year. And the 5th Best Selling
artist in Country Music for 2000.

- Grammy Nomination - January 3, 2001
- While in NYC helping announce the 2001 Grammy Nominees Billy heard his name for
"Best Male Country Vocal Performance" for his "One Voice" single. "One Voice"
is also up for "Best Country Song". Billy also enters the record books again by
becoming the Youngest solo artist ever to receive a Grammy nomination.
