ACM Preliminary Nominee - Sunday, January 27, 2002 Billy is on the Preliminary Nominees list for this years ACMA Top New Male Artist. Final round voting starts later this week and the final list of nominees will be announced the week of March 11.

Billy Makes His Mark on 2001 - Thursday, January 24, 2002 Billy was the fourth top-selling country album artist (combined album sales for the year) for 2001 according to a recent story in Billboard magazine. According to the magazine's data, Billy outsold Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Brooks & Dunn, Jamie O'Neal, Cyndi Thomson, and Blake Shelton. Billy was also the #3 top country single sales artist for the past year.
