Good news, album due.... - Wednesday, January 29, 2003 We have a bit more information about Billy's upcoming album. Billy has been working with Nashville's top writers including David Malloy (One Voice) and Bruce Roberts (God's Alive And Well) on a "very special project" The best part is we now know that the album, which GAC is calling a "one-of-a-kind disc", is expected to be released in LATE SPRING of this year. From Billy about canceled concerts - Tuesday, January 21, 2003 The following message from Billy appeared on his official .net site this afternoon. To all my fans: I'm truly sorry that I have to cancel my shows in February. As you all know, my voice has been changing over the last year - and continues to keep changing! I'm told by the doctors that I'm getting very close to the end of this process, but until it settles in a little better, they have asked me not to sing for prolonged periods of time. As much as I want to perform (I'm as anxious as some of you are!), the doctors are suggesting I hold up on touring for a little longer. I'm still hopeful to be going in the studio over the next month to put the finishing touches on my new album, but I have to be careful there as well. Fortunately all the people on my team have been so supportive of me during this process and have given me the flexibility to work when I am able. Look for an announcement very soon on the new album. Billy contributes to song writting - Friday, January 17, 2003 Today's ProJo reports that Billy has been contributing to the writing of several of the songs on the new CD that he is recording. "He's having tons of input and he's loving it," says manager Angela Bacari. "Nashville has been 100 percent supportive." They are also saying that the new album "will carry a range of music styles." ... Talk about it, click here!
