Billboard's charts for the CD's first week are out! On the Country chart Music Through Heartsongs debuts at a very good 15, giving Billy his fourth top 20 album. On Top 200 albums of all music types this translates into a very respectable 109. ... Talk about it, click here!

Billy helps fight illiteracy - Friday, April 11, 2003

Billy is taking part Wal-Mart's "Words Are Your Wheels" Literacy Day April 12, 2003. He will be appearing at two Wal-Mart locations in RI, 258 Post Road, Westerly at 10am and 1173 Tiogue Ave., Coventry, at 2pm.

Night Of Healing - Friday, April 4, 2003

As I first announced on my message board early last week, and now officially announced, Billy will be taking part in a concert to benefit victims and survivors of the West Warwick nightclub fire. All proceeds from the April 22 concert to be held at the Providence Performing Arts Center will go to The Station Nightclub Fire Relief Fund. Performers for the concert include Billy Gilman; Ricky Medlocke, formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd; the Southern Rock All-Stars (former members of Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot and the Rossington Band); Rick Derringer; Phoebe Snow; and Servants and Saints, a church group from West Warwick and Coventry. Initial plans also include televising the concert a week later in Rhode Island and S.E. Massachusetts. ... Talk about it, click here!
