3,000 in Maryland - Friday, October 27, 2000

A Sony press release on Thursday said that although Billy wasn't scheduled to appear until 4:30 PM at the Marley Station Mall in Maryland on Tuesday, by 2:30 a thousand people had already lined up. By 4:30 when Billy made his appearance more then 3,000 people were there. A spokesperson for the sponsoring radio station said that it was the biggest even they had ever been a part of and the most successful in the mall's history.

The Daily Variety has named Billy as one of the top 10 youths in entertainment!

"Warm and Fuzzy" video - Tuesday, October 17, 2000

Later this week Billy will return to Nashville to film the video for "Warm & Fuzzy," the first song off of his Christmas album.

School Comes First - Tuesday, October 17, 2000

Billy has had to turn down offers to appear on FOX's "Red Cross Christmas Spectacular" and Martha Stewart's holiday special so that he can take his semester exams.

Cancelled Concerts - Friday, October 13, 2000

Reba has cancelled the Little Rock and Memphis concerts at the beginning of November that Billy was to open.

"The Twang" Update - Wednesday, October 11, 2000

On Monday October 9th IMAX film crews and "dozens" of Country stars took over the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, once home to the Grand Ole Opry, to film one of the movie's final scenes. Among the country stars singing "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" in the front pews were Billy Gilman, Pam Tillis, Charlie Daniels, Trisha Yearwood and Ricky Skaggs.

CMT Canada Top 100 - Saturday, October 7, 2000

This weekend CMT Canada aired its Cross Canada Countdown which features the Top 100 requested videos. Billy beat out some of Country music's biggest artists, coming in at #5.

Country music industry standing ovation #2 - Wednesday, October 4, 2000

Even with a drastically shortened version of "One Voice" Billy did it again!!! He barely got finished before they were on their feet.
