Billy to perform at Benefit Concert in Memphis - Friday, October 22, 2004

Until now, famed producer David Gest has kept a low profile as a new homeowner in Memphis.

That changes Dec. 6, when he plans to stage a star-studded gala at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts and use part of the proceeds to give free Christmas dinners to "over a hundred thousand" homeless, disabled, low-income and senior citizens in three states.

Performers listed on his advertisement for the event include The Doobie Brothers, Al Green, Gloria nicenor, Crystal nicele, Dionne Warwick, Stephanie Mills, Lou Rawls, Shirley Caesar, Archie Bell, Barbara Mason, Billy Gilman, Mya, The Original Box Tops, Freddie Jackson and others.

Billy's new record company and upcoming album - Wednesday, October 20, 2004

Billy's new album, still untitled, he has said is a "grown up version of One Voice" and the new record company that is producing it is called "Image Music Group"
