NEWS FLASH!!! (06-28-00) Billy's album released on June 20th has taken a giant leap onto the Soundscan charts landing at #4, making Billy the youngest ever country soloist to make it into the top 5. Billy's One Voice single also retains it's #1 position for the second week in a row! WAY TO GO BILLY!!!! CONGRADULATIONS!!!! |

NEWS FLASH!!! (06-28-00) Incase you haven't heard: On Tuesday of this week (June 27, 2000) while participating in a Golfing Clinic in his home town, Billy was hit in the mouth by a golf ball, knocking out his front left tooth. Someone at the golf course put his tooth in milk and Billy was rushed to his dentist who bonded the tooth back in place, then sent Billy to an orthodontist to have the tooth wired (Billy choose glow-in-the-dark bands). Billy has been told to not sing for at least a week, resulting in him having to cancel (hopefully just postpone) his scheduled appearance on Thursday's "Today Show" and appearances in Arizona and California for this weekend. RUMORS: Update from June 18, 2000 to July 3, 2000 Billy's Christmas album All reports indicate that Billy will start recording it in July. Reports say that two song titles in the collection are "Mistletoe from Heaven" and "Santa.com" Old news on this: - Looks like the Christmas album is a go. Reports say Billy returns to the studio end of June/beginning of July to start recording it - During a radio interview at Fan Fair Billy said that he WOULD be doing a Christmas album. - Media interviews with Billy's manager reported that a Christmas album is in the planning and is all but a signed deal.
