Yep that's right, apparently Hollywood has taken notice of Billy and have sent some movie offers to Billy's management team, no word on whether or not any are being considered though.

Reports say that although no decision has been made, serious consideration is being given to "Oklahoma" and "What's Forever For"

The album has also climbed to #2 on the Billboard Charts. That's right, GOLD! And he broke another record! Billy is the youngest country artist ever to have an album go gold. He's also the best selling debut artist of 2000. And there's more to come!!

Billy could be up for CMA nomination (07-13-00)
CMA nominations are currently in their second round of voting and Billy is among those being voted on. The final list of nominees will be available at the beginning of August. GOOD LUCK BILLY!!

Christmas Album (07-12-00)
Reports say that Billy finished the recording of his Christmas album on Wednesday, July 12, 2000. Title and release date are yet to be determined but expect it this fall.

Country.com has reported that they have received confirmation from Epic records that Billy's Christmas album will be out this fall. No album title or release date has been set.

Billy's postponed "Today Show" appearance as part of their Outdoor Concert Series has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2000

#1 for third straight week!!
July 5, 2000 - Billy's One Voice single remains at #1 on the sales charts for the third straight week!! His album also stayed put at #4 on the album charts, but "moves from #52 to #43 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart."
