Billboard's 2000 Year End Charts (12-28-00)

Billy very successful first year comes to a close by appearing on all three of Billboard Year End Country Charts.
Billboard's Top 75 Country Albums of 2000 - "One Voice" is #14
Billboard's Top 25 Country Singles Sales of 2000 - "One Voice" is #4
Billboard's Top 25 Country Singles Sales of 2000 - "Oklahoma" is #23
Billboard's Top 75 Country Singles Airplay of 2000 - "One Voice" is #70

Starting 2001 with a bang! (12-22-00)

When you've had the amazingly successful year that Billy has had, how do you start off 2001? How about the American Music Awards? YEP! Not only has Billy been nominated for "Favorite New Country Artist" as reported earlier, but during the AMA's on January 8th Billy will sing his smash hit "One Voice"

Best of 2000 (12-16-00)

Even though there are still a couple weeks left in 2000, both Billboard and CMT have compiled and released their Best of the Year charts and Billy have faired well for only being around for part of the year.
On the Billboard Top Country Albums for the year, "One Voice" comes in at #14.
For CMT's Top 12 Videos of the Year, "One Voice" comes in at #5.
Billy also won CMT's "Rising Video Star of the Year" award.
And on a related note, video director Trey Fanjoy who directed both "One Voice" and "Oklahoma" recieved CMT's "Video Director of the Year" award.

Little more on the tour (12-06-00)

The tour that is being planned for next year for Billy is starting to sound exciting. Along with the information Billy told everyone in his AOL Chat, I've been able to find out that it will be a "medium-sized venue" tour of younger artists. Billy will be the headliner and it will be HIS tour.

Gold again!! (12-04-00)

Billy's Official site announced today that Billy's "Classic Christmas" Album has gone GOLD!! Congratulations Billy!!

Fan Fair 2001 (11-30-00)

Billy has been confirmed as one of the artists who will be at Fan Fair next June.

Biggest Selling (11-29-00)

With both "One Voice" and "Classic Christmas" in Billboard's Top 10, and a combined sales of about 65,000 albums per week, Billy is the biggest selling artist in country music right now.

Rumor Mill (11-27-00)

In an interview on Thursday Billy hinted that there are plans in the works for a tour next year that could include Jessica Andrews and the Clark Family Experience. Billy is quoted as saying "It would be so cool, I hope it works out."
