This weeks charts New Appearances This week's updates to The UNofficial Billy Gilman Fan Web Site This week's new highlights: --------------------------- + Update on "The Twang" + For those who haven't heard about the Twang yet, it is an IMAX about the history of Country music, explored through the eyes of an Irish boy. On Monday, October 9th the IMAX Film crew and a large number of Country stars gathered at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to sing "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" for one of the final scenes for the movie. There were over 2 dozen Country stars there including Billy and Pam Tillis. + Cancelled November concerts + On Friday it was announced that because Reba has to be in L.A. to work on a movie she has cancelled the Little Rock and Memphis concerts that Billy was to open on November 3 & 4. + Classic Christmas release dates + ---------------------------- Classic Christmas is release in the US on Tuesday!!! What's Billy doing this week? ----------------------------- After a busy week Billy sort of get's a small break, sort of. On Wednesday is scheduled to perform at Starskate Jam 2 in Providence, RI. On Sunday Billy is suppose to be Tim McGraw's Swampstock 2000 in Rayville, Louisiana. Finally, next weekend (I never did confirm the dates) Elton John will be holding two concerts at Madison Square Garden in NYC, there were reports that Billy would be a guest performer for the open act at one of the two concerts, however Elton's team was keeping the opening acts a secret to surprise those in attendance. This week's charts -------------------- In the wake of the CMA's last week Billy has had a steady week on the charts. On the Billboard Country albums "One Voice" holds at #7 but does show a gain in sales. On Billboard's Top 200 albums it climbs jumps back up to #45. On the Canadian Soundcan charts it moves back up two spots to #11.
