In the almost 6 full page article you will find some great pictures of Billy. In the article you can also get a glimpse of Billy's life - Billy has specific household duties like cleaning up his room and taking care of his dog, Wizzer, who's named after one of the pups in "101 Dalmatians." Billy says, "If I do all my chores, I get $5 a week. I wish it was $5 a day, though." - He loves junk food - Twinkies, Fritos (the barbecued kind), and Gushers (jelly-filled candies). - His family and friends don't treat him any differently, but he does admit that sometimes the girls chase him down the street. + Grammy stuff + A few weeks ago in the newsletter I ask how, after having the incredible year Billy had, do you start of 2001. The answer then was with an AMA nomination (the AMA's are Monday night). Well, Billy found a better way by being nominated for the Best Male Country Vocal Performance Grammy Award and having "One Voice" nominated as Best Country Song. That itself is outstanding but it doesn't end there. With his nomination Billy continues to rewrite the record books by becoming the youngest soloist in history to receive a Grammy nomination. Could he also become the youngest soloist in history to win a Grammy? + One Voice Single + Do you have the Single of Billy's smash hit "One Voice"? Been meaning to buy it, but haven't? Well you better hurry. Sony has announced that the 400,000 copies of the single are nearly sold out forever. If you can't find it locally CDNow is still listing it as available, however that could change at any time. Click here to order it from CDNow + New Year's resolution + Have you been curious what New Year's resolution Billy might have made? Billy says he'd like to finish the 4th Harry Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." He's read them all except for this one. What's Billy doing this week? ----------------------------- Billy is in L.A. this weekend for The People's Choice Awards and The American Music Awards Billy TV -------------------- Today, Sunday, January 7th, Billy will be a presenter on The People's Choice Awards, 9:00 PM ET on CBS Monday, January 8th, Billy will perform "One Voice" on the American Music Awards, Billy is also nominated for Favorite New Country Artist. 8:00 PM ET on ABC. This week's charts -------------------- Canadian Chart information is late again this weekend, so it's not included. "One Voice" is #5 on Billboard's Country Albums Chart and #69 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums. "Oklahoma" continues to hold down the #2 spot on Billboard's Country Singles Sales Chart. "Classic Christmas" didn't do well this week, however I started hearing about people having trouble finding it the week before Christmas, so it's having dropped to #19 on Billboard's Country Albums Chart and out of the top half of Billboard's Top 200 can partially be attributed to stores having sold out.
