=================================================================== The UNofficial Billy Gilman Fan Web Site Newsletter (#029-01-02-27) =================================================================== Contents -------- CD 3 and Tour ACM Nominations This weeks charts CD 3 and Tour ----------------------------- CD 3: I'm not sure where it's coming from but there seems to incorrect information regarding the next CD. The last official word, was that Billy would be in the studio to record the album at the end of February or beginning of March. This would mean that if he hasn't returned to the studio yet he will with in the next week or two. The album is still expected to be released in May. Tour: As I'm sure you have all figured out the tour this summer is a go, although it hasn't exactly been officially announced yet. Details are still being worked out, but the information I have received so far says it will be 30 - 40 dates and start just after Fan Fair in June. According to Jessica Andrews, her and Billy will co-headline the tour, with "Billy going on first, then Jessica, then the two of the finishing the show together". A few concert dates for Billy have already been announced (not part of the tour as far as I know) and you can find them on the "Tour" page of my site. ACM Nominations ----------------------------- The Academy of Country Music announced the final nominees this morning for the ACM Awards which will air on CBS May 9th. Billy has received three nominations for Top New Male Vocalist Album of the Year - "One Voice" Song of the Year - "One Voice" I'm still completely shocked that "One Voice" didn't get nominated for Video of the Year.
