Student Adviser Summer Tour Dates Announced Billy TV This weeks charts Opps ----------------------------- If you tried to visit the site on Friday you probably received a "no response from the server" message of some kind. Due to a... uh... a "not-so-technical" problem at the data center which accidentally took the host down. Thanks to James' hard work the site is back up and running like new. Along with the site my e-mail was also effected by the problem, and a lot of my e-mail from Friday was lost, so if you e-mailed me I didn't get it. Student Adviser ----------------------------- From the TUBGFWS news page Oh, THAT Billy Gilman (04-05-01) Executives for Junior Scholastic Magazine say they were surprised when they discovered that the Student Advisory Board application form a 12 year-old Billy Gilman of Rhode Island turned out to be THE Billy Gilman. Billy's spokesperson says he took it upon himself to write a brief essay on why he'd make a good student adviser for the magazine. Billy, and nine other kids from around the US were chosen to serve on the student panel. Billy says that being home-schooled he finds Junior Scholastic very valuable. And that his input could be helpful because he travels a lot and meets kids from all over the US. Summer Tour Dates Announced ----------------------------- Most of you probably know this by now but the dates for the summer tour were released this week. Between now and the middle of October there are 48 performances (currently known). I've gone through and found most of the websites for the events, so have a look at the Tour Schedule page on my site. Billy TV ----------------------------- Teen People's 25 Hottest Stars Under 25 - Monday, April 9, 2001 at 10pm on MTV Blockbuster Awards - As far as I know the Wednesday awards show is live from LA. Since Billy will be in Massachusetts doing an appearance for his "home town" radio's St Jude's Radiothon he obviously won't be there. However of course, there is always the chance that the awards were always taped this weekend. :) This weeks charts ----------------------------- "One Voice" is still in the top 20 for it's 41st week, but does slip a spot to 17 this week on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. It is also 17 on the Canadian Soundscan chart. "Oklahoma" continues to hold 5 on the Billboard's Country Singles Sales chart.
