=================================================================== The UNofficial Billy Gilman Fan Web Site Newsletter (#038-01-05-20) =================================================================== Contents -------- Peace Officers Memorial Summer Tour Billy's Birthday She's My Girl Video Billy TV & Print This weeks charts Peace Officers Memorial -------------------------------------- On Tuesday, May 15th, Billy was in Washington DC to take part in the 20th Annual Peace Officers' Memorial Service. An annual event that pays tribute to fallen police offers and acknowledges their sacrifice in the line of duty. In attendance to pay tribute to 150 officers who made the supreme sacrifice in 2000 were President George W. Bush and approximately 10,000 police officers, families, and friends of law enforcement. Billy honored the fallen officers by singing "One Voice" Summer Tour -------------------------------------- Billy and Jessica have decided on a name for their tour this summer. "Equals 29". The name is derived from adding together their ages. Billy is 12, Jessica is 17. :) Also I have a few new dates and a correction to add to the page. Billy's Birthday -------------------------------------- Not that any of you could possibly forget, but Billy's 13th Birthday is on Thursday. Despite all earlier reports that Billy would be home for the big day it now appears that Billy AND his family will be in Orlando, Florida where Billy will co-host Nickelodeon's Slime Time Live (see Billy TV) She's My Girl ----------------------------- The video for "She's My Girl" hit's the airwaves this week. CMT Canada - The Screening Room - Monday, May 21st - 5:00, 7:00, 11:30 PM ET GAC - Fast Forward - Thursday, May 24th - 9:30 PM ET - Friday 10:30 AM & 6:30 PM, Saturday 12:30 AM & 3:30 PM, Sunday 8:30 AM & 7:30 PM CMT - unknown. - The last I heard CMT's policy change requires a song to be a hit on radio before they'll start airing a video. However it couldn't hurt to go to CMT's request page, select on of Billy's other videos and in the dedication box tell them you want "She's My Girl" http://www.country.com/cmt/request/ Billy TV & Print ----------------------------- Things are starting to get a little busy.
