Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Half Time Show
"National Kettle Kick-Off" for The Salvation Army
by Dean (BillyGilmanFan)
WOW!!! How long did he hold that note on "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy"
To start off, Billy fans may have noticed that when Fox started their
tribute for the Salvation Army, Billy's "There's A Hero" was the song
being played in the back ground.
Also if you were looking closely, Billy was in a few of the pictures
that they were showing, it looked like they were from the announcement
last week.
It is/was raining in Dallas.
Billy was wearing all Black, except for a brown leather jacket, (and
flesh colored earphones) and was in great voice for what has to be his
largest live audience ever.
He was standing on the stage they'd set up and really looked at ease.
On the steps at the front there were some young kids that Billy waved
at, and then went and sat down on the top step and made it look like
he was singing to these kids. For backing vocals they had a full
choir. Near the end he stood up and took a couple steps back.
Then he got to that line, that really high and long "way." I don't
think it was as high as it has been but he sure held it for a long
time, I'm sure it was longer then normal.
Just a fantastic performance for Billy, one that I'm sure will become
not only a cherished memory for him, and for his fans, but one that
will introduce him to a lot more fans.
