Starskate Jam 2

I just returned home after a great night at the Providence Civic Center.
There I saw Billy Gilman perform his hit "One Voice" in the 'Starskates
Jam 2' show. He was in perfect form as always. I had a great seat where I
had a good view of the stage plus an awesome view of what was going on
backstage. I got a glimpse of Angela Bacari giving Billy some last minute
pointers before he went on stage. 'Keep your chin up Billy'. You could
tell that these two have a very close relationship. It was fun to watch
Billy clowning around with the guys from 'No Authority', who were also
appearing in the show.
My ticket price included a reception with the performers after the show
but, alas, no Billy. The person in charge said that Billy was supposed to
attend the reception but had to leave. This person said that Billy's
mother insisted he leave early because he wasn't feeling well after 14 days
of touring. You couldn't tell by his performance but I guess Mother knows
best! :) Hope you're feeling better Billy. I'll get your autograph next
time.
This show was taped for television. They announced that
it will be aired on NBC, Sunday, November 26th from 2 to 4 pm.
