St. Judes Radiothon in St. Louis

My friend and I waited 4 hours standing in line to Billy at South County Mall
in St. Louis, MO for the St. Judes Radiothon. Not only was the radiothon a
success, but so was Billy!!! He attracted so many fans, that they had to make
a whole new line to get autographs!! Luckly, my friend and I got there
earlier enough to be one of the first to get autographs from the cute dimple
faced boy. We both got his autogrpah and were so happy. Then being "Heros" my
friend and I brought our friend Jen's ( who is currently at St. Jude's
Childrens Hospital), One Voice CD, and asked if he could be Jen's "Hero" and
sign it for her. Billy being the warm hearted kid he is, replied with an "Of
course!" Billy sang a verse from One Voice acopelo, and it sounded great! He
was a big hit, which made people donate money to St. Judes. I myself had been
saving my money for 2 years to donate it to St. Judes, and I ended up giving
$348.00. I hope I was a hero for the kids there. I can understand that
There's A Hero was a perfect song for the occassion, and the lyrics really
touch the heart and soul. There is a hero in everybody's hearts. St. Jude's
Radiothon was once again a great success! After all, we all love the "One
Voice" only Billy could have, so thanks for letting your voice be heard and
sending the message that there is a hero in everybody!!!
